The probability of a sea parting – nil. The possibility of walking on dry land through the sea – impossible All the newspaper and report from the scientist of the day would have stated ‘what foolish people’ believing that the sea was going to part for them. But it did. When we put our God in the equation nothing is impossible with Him. His miracles confound the medics, experts, scientists even the sceptics. Whose report are we going to believe? The God who says ‘I can do all things’ or the medics who work from the perspective of what is ‘normally and naturally the case’ as opposed to Our God who works ‘supernaturally’, the God who sees all things, knows all things and nothing is beyond His remit.
Unknown to you Pastor and Holly, little Emilie-Grace story has cause many of us to re-examine our own relationship with God. We have walked with you through ‘your storm’ we have sat on the edge with baited breath, sometimes biting our nails, our hearts pumping; we have agonized in prayers, we have cried with you and hoped with you…believed with you. More importantly we have been immensely blessed by your ‘faith-growth’ as you continuously call on the Almighty as your source of strength and as an antidote for all the ‘medical impossibilities’ you were told about regarding your precious Grace. I have not doubt that like us, your faith has been firmly established. When He said, see I will do a new thing…………..He did. When He said he will make the impossible possible……….He does. When He said ‘I Am who I Am’ He really is the ‘I am God who heals. I am God who restores. I am God who renew……… I am God and there is none like me. I have absolutely not doubt that 2014 will be a year of jubilation as we continue to observe the blessings on Emilie-Grace life. A little child who would have been born like so many other children all over the world, every day all over the world was catapulted into an amass of prayers because the devil wanted to take her out…..but like Joseph we say to the ‘old fool’ what he intended to harm her……………God has used it to bless so many of us. We will never forget this journey May yours and our household never cease to praise His holy name. Amen and Amen Blessings and more blessings Mary
