Right now Emilie is in surgery to have a reservoir placed in her head. This will help alleviate pressure due to extra fluid on her brain. I ask that you please pray for a successful procedure. We know know that God is in control and that the prayers of the righteous avail much!!

I was a preemie born at 24 1/2 weeks on April 20th, 1991. I weighed 1 lb 10 oz. They told my mom that I likely would never walk or talk. She was also told that I had a 5% chance to live and if she wished to let me go. She refused. Now I’m 22 working on my college degree; I can walk, talk, read a newspaper, among other things. The only thing that’s “wrong” is my vision. I do wear glasses due to pediatric retinopathy, common in preemie at the time due to the oxygen therapy. Despite that, I have my driver’s license and have no problems getting around. God does great things. I thank God that I’m here today. My name, Noni, means A gift from God.

As I pray for Emilie’s healing, I have Proverbs 3:5-6 on my lips ……….”and he shall direct thy path.” So I won’t lean on my own understanding. I Trust in the Lord with all my heart. Pastor Seth and Holly, you both have my family’s prayers as well as Emillie Grace.
